For best growing results, plant this lily in a large rectangular tray or in Large Aquascape fabric pots, as it grows large and has a running tuber that requires plenty of space. It’s hardy down to USDA Zone 5. Plant at a depth of 9 to 20 inches from soil to surface, allowing it to thrive with a growth spread of up to 6 feet.
