Nymphaea ‘Olympe de Gouges’
A Majestic Deep Red Hardy Lily – Elegant, Bold, and Garden-Ready
We are proud to introduce ‘Olympe de Gouges’, a magnificent new large deep red hardy water lily that brings both beauty and impact to your pond. This variety produces rich, velvety red blooms and is relatively free flowering, offering consistent color throughout the season.
While hardy, this lily is sensitive to intense, direct sunlight—especially in USDA zones 7 and above. To maintain the vibrancy and longevity of its flowers, we recommend partial shade or the use of a 50% U.V.-blocking shade cloth during peak heat. Ideal for collectors who want a red hybrid with depth and subtlety in both color and form.
