Luxor is a truly remarkable and massive winter-hardy lily, created by hybridizer Matthew Koch through a cross between the sacred Egyptian Blue Lily (N. caerulea) and a hardy water lily. The result is a stunning, large-blooming variety with the exotic beauty of its tropical ancestry and the resilience of a hardy.
N. Luxor is an extremely free-flowering lily that produces large, vivid blooms throughout the season, making it a bold and breathtaking centerpiece for any water garden.
For Best Growing Results:
Planting depth: 9–24 inches from soil to water surface
Sunlight: Requires full sun, minimum of 6 hours per day
Pot size: Grows well in a 12" circular pot or larger if space allows
Growth spread: Needs at least a 5-foot radius for full development
USDA Zones: Hardy in Zones 6–10
