Another great new winter hardy ISG created by Mattew Koch. Downpetal makes a beautiful almost red Lavendar colored flower with narrow petals. On a second or third day of the bloom the petals will all point down. The pads are a dark mocha molted coloration bringing an extra level of beauty to this hybrid.
This hybrid needs to be in full sun for best results. Give at least a 4-foot growth area for the lily to spread out.
Best to plant this lily in the depth ranges of 6"-24" for best results. Down Petal should be planted in the center of the pot you choose kept in a 3-gallon or larger pot.
*Older pads can get a tarnished look and develope holes. This is normal for this hybrid.
