The stamens stay standing straight up making it look like people circling a camp fire. This is a truly stunning hybrid! It requires a lot of space, reaching up to 8-feet outwards from the rhyzome.
Plant this lily at a depth of 10-30" from soil to surface. Due to the dark color of the flowers it may need U.V. protection shade over it in zones 7-10 depending on humidity levels in your area. A minimum of 5-hours of full sun is recommended with early morning light as this lily will open early and stay open to early evening depending on temperature.
